Mindfulness Coaching
“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts” Marcus Aurelius, ‘Meditations’
Are your thoughts and feelings causing distractions, stress, or overwhelming you, impacting your work and relationships? Mindfulness is the energy of attention, a vital skill for being fully present with what unfolds within and around us. Understanding our minds and emotions allows us to act and react in ways that promote well-being and happiness—for ourselves and others. As a mindfulness coach, I guide you in developing this skill to reduce stress, enhance focus, and improve relationships. Together, we’ll address common needs like emotional regulation, resilience, and presence, fostering personal growth and overall happiness.
The last 10 years of my corporate work life were the most challenging. Being the head of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) department, I deal with emergencies or accidents, face resistance or opposition from workers or managers who may not see the value or importance of HSES policies and procedures, and balance the demands and expectations of different stakeholders on a regular basis. Managing my stress and workload due to the responsibility, pressure, and complexity of the HSES role was challenging. This led me to a burnout. I honestly did not see it coming.
Mindfulness helps me to improve my well-being by reducing my stress and anxiety and helping me cope with daily challenges and negative emotions. Every day, I practice meditation in the morning. This has helped me to change a lot of habits regarding life balance, self-care, and way of thinking. For me, mindfulness is not just a practice, but a way of life.

- A coaching agreement, where we establish the terms and conditions of our coaching relationship, such as the duration, frequency, and fees of the sessions
- A coaching assessment, where we explore your current level of mindfulness, and identify your strengths, challenges, and opportunities
- A coaching plan, where we set your specific, measured, evidence, responsibility, time-bound, inspirational, and emotional (SMERTIE) goals, and outline the actions and strategies that will help you achieve them
- Coaching sessions, where we meet regularly (usually once a week or every two weeks) via phone, video call, or in person, and work on your mindfulness goals, techniques, and strategies, as well as review your progress, feedback, and results
- Coaching support, where I provide you with additional resources, tools, and exercises that will enhance your mindfulness practice and learning, and where you can contact me via email or text between sessions for any questions, concerns, or updates
- Coaching evaluation, where we measure and celebrate your mindfulness outcomes, achievements, and learnings, and where we decide on the next steps for your continued mindfulness journey
Practicing mindfulness is a very personal experience and you should always practice it in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful to you. You can practice mindfulness at your own pace and level, and adjust it according to your needs and preferences. The most important thing is to enjoy the process and the benefits of mindfulness.
