Hi, I am Xavier Dupont, a Certified Dynamic Life Coach

Embark on a Journey of Self-Discovery: As a dedicated coach, I specialize in guiding introverts, highly sensitive persons, and expatriates. Alongside these, I offer a dedicated mindfulness program, empowering you to embrace your inner world, overcome the challenges of a noisy exterior, and find harmony in your personal and professional life.

I am an introvert and a highly sensitive person who has experienced both the joys and the challenges of living in a world that often favors extroverts and stimulation. I have worked for a multinational company as a technician and then manager, working and living in 5 different countries over the last 20 years. In these roles, I have used my introvert strengths of creativity, insight, and adaptability to solve problems, communicate effectively, and lead teams.

 

My Background

Being highly sensitive, I have a high sensitivity to certain foods, weather and season changes, and the emotions of others. I also get overstimulated if I have a lot to do in a very short period. These factors can affect my dietary choices, my mood, and my energy. For example, I became a vegetarian, not by choice, but by necessity, because I would feel nauseous whenever I tasted, smelled, or saw certain foods. I also experience seasonal affective disorder every autumn, which makes me feel depressed and lethargic. I am also influenced by the mood of people around me, which can affect my emotions and energy. For instance, I used to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, where I often felt the stress and negativity of my colleagues and clients. However, I have learned to cope with these challenges by using various strategies, such as light therapy, exercising regularly, taking vitamin D supplements, practicing mindfulness, setting boundaries, and seeking support from my friends and family.

My Turning Point

I faced many challenges as the head of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) department. I had to deal with emergencies or accidents, face resistance or opposition from workers or managers who may not see the value or importance of HSES policies and procedures, and balance the demands and expectations of different stakeholders regularly. Managing my stress, as well as the stress of my peers, and the workload due to the responsibility, pressure, and complexity of the HSES role was challenging. This led me to burnout. I honestly did not see it coming.

I realized that my introversion and high sensitivity were not flaws, but gifts that I could use to make a positive difference in the world. I discovered that I had valuable strengths, such as creativity, focus, and empathy, that I could apply to various situations and challenges. I felt a strong calling to share my insights and experiences with other introverts, highly sensitive people or any other persons who might be struggling with similar issues. That is why I decided to become a coach and help them embrace their true selves and achieve their full potential. I trained as a coach and became certified by LEDISA Academy (Pty) Ltd, an accredited training provider with the International Coaches Register (ICR) as well as a registered training provider with Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA).

My Mission

Now, I am on a mission to help you shine in your own way, whether you are an introvert, a highly sensitive person, or both. I believe that these traits are not weaknesses, but superpowers. I believe that you have unique gifts and talents that the world needs. And I believe that coaching is the best way to help you unlock your potential and achieve your goal
